Medical Benefits *

Unison offers a point of service health insurance program with two options designed to provide high-quality healthcare at reasonable costs; and, depending on the area in which you live, a preferred provider organization health insurance program is available.

Dental Options *

Unison offers two options of dental coverage to help with the cost of routine dental care services for you and your family. Depending on the option you choose, your plan may include major services for children as well as adults.

Flexible Spending Accounts

You can make Federal tax-free contributions to Dependent care and/or Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). Depending on your tax bracket, you could realize significant tax savings as a result of money contributed into an FSA to pay for care for dependent children and/or adults and medical and dental expenses not paid for by our group insurance programs.

Eligible Dependents

You can enroll your dependents in medical, dental, and voluntary term life insurance coverage. Dependents include: your spouse, dependent children, and children for whom you have legal custody and the duty of court ordered financial support.

Insurance Benefits

Life Insurance *

Unison provides life insurance coverage of 100% of annual base salary to a maximum of $50,000 and a minimum of $10,000 at no cost. In addition, you may purchase additional life insurance for yourself, your spouse and your dependents on a voluntary basis.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment *

Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) is automatically provided by Unison at no cost. Qualifiers receive 100% of their annual salary to a maximum of $50,000 and a minimum of $10,000.

Disability Coverage *

Short-Term Disability (STD): Unison automatically provides STD at no cost to you. While on STD you will receive up to 66 2/3 % of your base pay following a two-week elimination period.

Voluntary Long-Term Disability (LTD): Unison gives you the option to elect LTD coverage. While on LTD you will receive 60% of your base salary.

Retirement Benefits

401(k) Plan

Unison’ 401(k) Plan is established with Fidelity Institutional Retirement Services Company. Team members are eligible to participate following satisfaction of a waiting period with immediate vesting. Unison will match (currently 25% of first 4% of contributions) your contributions on a monthly basis.

Employee Assistance Program *

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service is designed to provide confidential assistance to you and any member of your household for personal problems that may disrupt job performance, family or community life. There are times in all of our lives when we need a little help. Whatever the issues, your Employee Assistance Program is available, 24 hours a day/7 days a week, with support guidance and resources. These concerns include family discord; alcoholism and drug dependency; financial, legal, emotional or other personal problems, such as illness or adapting to a stressful environment.
